Increase your water intake:

Use a skin moisturizer:

Using a lotion that contains vitamin E will help your skin to stay supple and promote the growth of new skin cells. This will minimize wrinkles and help your skin to stay soft and flexible. Look for products that contain coconut oil or other fruit oils.

Limit exposure to the sun:

Sun can negatively affect the elasticity of your skin, and may contribute to ‘droopy’ skin over time. Sun bathing and going to tanning salons is definitely a no-no if you want healthy, vibrant skin well into your senior years. Sun exposure tends to dry out the skin, which increases the appearance of wrinkles and can actually make skin feel leathery.

Minimize time in swimming pools:

The chlorine in swimming pools dries out and damages your skin, so it’s best if you don’t spend hours in the pool. If you are going to swim, having a shower beforehand can hydrate your skin before the chlorine dries it out too much. Rinsing off afterwards is also recommended, as well as applying a natural moisturizer to restore what has been stripped from your skin.

It is important that you exercise patience in your skin care regimen, as you are not going to see results overnight. These steps take time to work, and if you’ve already broken many of these rules, it will take even more time to undo the damage that’s already been done.
